Years ago I fell victim to a plot orchestrated by 2 veterinarians and a journalist.
Here ’s the shocking reality…
One of the veterinarians was the president of the largest veterinary association in Switzerland.
The other veterinarian had just opened a mobile veterinary service very close to my veterinary practice.
They had contacted a journalist acquaintance of theirs and managed to have her write lies about me on the front page of a national newspaper
showing a big picture of my clinic.
They spread these lies to every street on newspaper poster boards.
The lies made their way to radio, too.
I felt broken.
I thought my clinic would never recover. Everything I had worked for seemed destroyed.

Also, whenever it's medically indicated, I run all the tests and do all the treatments a pet needs, no matter what time it is...
Including on weekends and holidays...
Some local veterinarians were not pleased about this. Instead of also becoming available to their patients 24/7, they resorted to slandering me...
Lies, Lies, and More Lies…
- They lied to pet owners about me...
- They pushed them to file complaints against me, telling them that my diagnoses and therapies were wrong. Up until then, I had practiced 25 years without a single complaint.
- They used the authority of their association to give them credibility.
- Thanks to their connections with the media, they even spread these lies everywhere they could.
Which meant…
That in addition to taking care of emergencies 24/7, I had to spend part of my days in court…
As you can imagine, I was angry and fired up because I wasn’t ready to give up on treating animals that needed help outside of business hours...
I ended up suing them all together...
And I Single-handedly Won!
The Geneva court found their attitude SO BAD and their spreading of false rumours so
UNACCEPTABLE that it FORBADE each
member of this local veterinary association from commenting on any of my diagnostic and therapeutic decisions.
The court also forbade them from criticising my prices, which the court ruling found were absolutely fine...
Additionally, they had to stop lying to pet owners by pretending to have qualifications that they didn't have!
As you may know, I also won my lawsuit against a national newspaper, civil and criminal.
I was awarded the largest amount of compensation that a newspaper ever had paid in Switzerland. (Unfortunately, however, unlike in the US , winning a lawsuit in Switzerland often doesn’t even cover the legal fees.)
Because the scam had been planned and executed by local vets and also by the president of the largest Swiss veterinary association, and then followed by the entire local veterinary association...
